The Michigan Chapter of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, IAEI, is proud to provide its membership and others in the electrical industry this web site. The Michigan Chapter and the IAEI are dedicated to the training of electrical professionals. The Chapter provides three educational programs annually. There is a Spring, Summer and Annual Educational Seminars. The Spring Meeting is normally located in the mid section of the lower peninsula during the month of March. The Summer Meeting is normally in the upper section of the lower peninsula and has taken place in the upper peninsula during the month of June. The Annual Meeting normally takes place in the south east section of the lower peninsula during the first part of December.

2005 Michigan Electrical Code Effective November 23, 2007

The State of Michigan has adopted the 2005 Michigan Electrical Code and it became effective on November 23, 2007. The Bureau of Construction Codes is accepting applications for Code-Update Classes for the renewal of your electrical licenses.
